White-label overview
White-label overview
A white-label integration is an out-of-the-box, AURA-powered safety app that you brand and offer as your own. AURA hosts the app experience — onboarding, payment, the panic journey, and live dispatch — so you can go to market quickly without building those surfaces yourself.
What’s out of the box vs. via the API
White-label composes with the Panic API rather than replacing it:
- Out of the box (AURA-hosted): the branded app, hosted customer signup, callout tracking, and subscription management. Payment can use AURA’s hosted gateways or hand off to your own payment gateway.
- Via the API (yours to drive): programmatic customer registration, subscription activation, and creating callouts — using the same endpoints as any integration. Start with Authentication and Customers & customer sources.
Boundaries
The white-label app owns the hosted experience (where the app lives, its branding and content). Your systems can still create and manage customers and subscriptions through the API — for example registering users from your own backend while AURA hosts the app they use.
In this section

- Payment gateway — take payment for subscriptions inside your app.
